Uvonda Jones Willis, a native of Pamlico County has written a book titled, "Quoting My Way Through Teaching". Willis not only attended Pamlico County Schools but taught English for one year at Pamlico County High School. She currently teaches High School in the Pitt
County School System and dedicates her book to her students.
According to Willis, the inspiration for her book came from listening to her students' complaints, critiques, and praises. She has taken her memories and uses them to show that true life teaching comes from the heart.
"Quoting My Way Through Teaching" is minute in size but each chapter emcompasses a powerful message. Whether you are the thirty year teacher, the novice teacher, the Sundayschool teacher, the business executive, the college graduate, the entry level worker, or an individual experiencing fatigue in life, there is something in this book for you.
